This position is fully onsite; remote work is not available.
The selected candidate will be part of Northrop Grumman's Product Support Engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Writes and/or edits documents such as programming/service/user manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences.
Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, and referring to source data in the form of technical specifications and blueprints.
Prepares and submits technical illustration requests by selecting from available engineering drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts. Conducts quality review of illustrations generated.
Communicates assignment progress to colleagues and leadership on a regular basis. Requests assistance from teammates when necessary to complete work within cost/quality/schedule requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability - General knowledge of application of Technical Data principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Some knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks.
Problem Solving - Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. May refer to established precedents and policies.
Discretion/Latitude - Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact - Contributes to the completion of projects and goals of the organization. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally be detected in supervisory oversight.
Liaison - Frequent internal company contacts. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, and other personnel in the section or group. May develop and deliver presentations to small groups.

Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance
