Fraud Program Owner

Compensation: $65 to $85 Hourly

We are looking for an experienced Fraud Program Owner to lead fraud risk efforts for a long-term contract opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position will focus on strengthening risk oversight, supporting due diligence activities, and improving fraud prevention practices across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in risk analysis and investigations, with the ability to translate findings into practical controls and program enhancements.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and oversight of fraud risk initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader risk management objectives.
• Perform detailed risk assessments to identify exposure areas, emerging threats, and control gaps related to fraud activities.
• Direct due diligence reviews and evaluate findings to support informed risk decisions and mitigation planning.
• Investigate suspected fraudulent activity, analyze patterns, and recommend actions to reduce recurring issues.
• Build and refine fraud management strategies that strengthen detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement risk management framework standards within fraud-related processes.
• Monitor fraud trends, key risk indicators, and operational data to identify potential fraud and escalate concerns as needed.
• Prepare clear reporting and documentation for leadership, summarizing investigations, risk insights, and recommended improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fraud risk management, risk analysis, or a closely related risk leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and their application within fraud prevention programs.
• Hands-on experience conducting due diligence and assessing risk exposures in complex business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to detect fraud, identify suspicious patterns, and support effective investigations.
• Experience developing risk management strategies that address fraud threats and operational vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting risk insights and collaborating with business and compliance partners.

Compensation

$65.00-$85.00 Hourly
