Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support a construction and contractor-focused organization in Norton, Ohio. The person in this role will help maintain timely invoice records and provide day-to-day accounts payable support in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process daily accounts payable invoices with accuracy and attention to detail

• Enter invoice and payment information into accounting records in a timely manner

• Review submitted billing documents for completeness before recording them

• Maintain organized financial documentation to support efficient tracking and retrieval

• Assist with routine accounts payable tasks to help keep vendor payments on schedule

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting clerk, accounts payable, or similar finance support role
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes and invoice handling
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage repetitive transactional work while meeting deadlines
• Comfortable working in an office setting within a construction or contractor-related business
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, organized work style

Compensation

$20.00-$22.00 Hourly
