Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Barnwell, SC area seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a variety of HR functions in a fast-paced environment. This contract opportunity offers the potential for long-term employment and is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with employees, supporting leadership, and managing a broad range of human resources responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support recruiting and hiring efforts, including candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding activities.
• Assist with new hire orientation, employment documentation, and employee transitions.
• Provide support for employee benefits administration and respond to routine employee questions.
• Maintain employee records and HR data within company systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with payroll-related administrative processes and employee information updates.
• Help ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
• Partner with management on performance management activities, employee coaching, and workplace concerns.
• Serve as a resource for employees and supervisors, helping to foster positive employee relations and clear communication.
• Contribute to HR projects, reporting, and other administrative initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in human resources, employee relations, recruiting, or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Experience working with HR systems and maintaining accurate records preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications.
