HR Generalist
We are looking for an experienced Part Time HR Generalist to join a manufacturing organization in Bloomington, Minnesota on a Contract basis. This role supports essential human resources activities across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee support, and benefits administration, with a particular focus on recruiting and open enrollment. The ideal candidate can work independently, adapt to shifting priorities, and provide steady day-to-day HR support in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end hiring efforts for assigned openings, including candidate sourcing, resume review, interview scheduling, and offer coordination.
• Partner with hiring teams to recruit for a range of positions such as HR, finance, and administrative roles while maintaining an efficient hiring process.
• Use job boards and other recruiting channels to strengthen applicant pipelines and improve time-to-fill for open roles.
• Support onboarding and core HR administration by assisting employees and managers with routine questions and documentation.
• Complete employment eligibility verification activities, including I-9 review and E-Verify processing, in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Administer benefit-related tasks through HRIS and carrier platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up on employee elections and changes.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment activities, including system preparation, employee communication, enrollment assistance, and collaboration with external brokers or vendors.
• Provide dependable day-to-day HR support in a largely independent work setting, staying organized and following through with minimal oversight.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a broad HR Generalist role with hands-on responsibility across multiple HR functions.• Strong full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
• Working knowledge of benefits administration, with direct involvement in open enrollment processes.
• Familiarity with HR compliance activities such as I-9 completion, E-Verify, and employee record management.
• Ability to work effectively with limited direction and remain productive in an environment with ambiguity or changing priorities.
• Experience using HR systems and benefit platforms; knowledge of UKG Ready or UKG Pro is preferred.
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
