Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Administer Windows endpoints across the environment, ensuring devices are configured, secured, and maintained according to organizational standards.
• Manage and refine Group Policy settings to support consistent system behavior, access controls, and user experience across managed devices.
• Perform Active Directory administration tasks, including scripting, cleanup efforts, and ongoing directory maintenance to keep the environment organized and accurate.
• Use PowerShell to automate repetitive operational work, streamline administration, and improve the efficiency of support processes.
• Support endpoint management initiatives through platforms such as Intune and other unified endpoint management tools.
• Monitor endpoint security posture and help implement measures that strengthen device protection and policy compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows systems, user access, device configuration, and policy application in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to improve system stability and address technical challenges affecting endpoint services.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer or similar infrastructure support role.• Strong hands-on experience administering Windows environments and supporting enterprise endpoints.
• Proven ability to manage Group Policy Objects and perform group policy administration in a business setting.
• Experience with Active Directory administration, including scripting and directory cleanup activities.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and systems administration tasks.
• Familiarity with endpoint management solutions such as Intune and unified endpoint management platforms.
• Working knowledge of endpoint security, endpoint protection, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with tools and environments such as Azure Active Directory, Windows Server, Citrix, or Microsoft Exchange is beneficial.
