Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
•Review financial entries, supporting records, and numerical data to confirm accuracy and completeness before posting.
•Maintain bank account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to keep records current and reliable.
•Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice handling, payment tracking, and collections support.
•Prepare routine financial summaries, reports, and supporting schedules related to expenses, cash activity, and operating results.
•Enter accounting data and process invoices while ensuring documentation is complete, organized, and aligned with compliance standards.
•Provide administrative and project support to the accounting team across multiple entities as business needs arise.
•Manage electronic and physical accounting files, preserving confidentiality and maintaining orderly record retention practices.
•Process check deposits through electronic or manual methods and ensure timely recording in the accounting system.
Qualifications:
•At least 3 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience, preferably within a fast-paced business environment.•Working knowledge of bookkeeping fundamentals, including general ledger activity, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
•Hands-on experience with QuickBooks; certification is a plus.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence using business software and digital filing systems.
•Strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented work habits.
•Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate independently and as part of a team.
•Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with a high level of professionalism and credibility.
•Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Compensation
