Inventory Clerk

We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our client's team in SW Portland on a Contract basis. In this role, you will help maintain accurate stock movement from receiving through shipment while supporting timely, high-quality order fulfillment. This position is ideal for someone who values accountability, works well with others, and takes pride in keeping operations organized, safe, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Process outbound orders by reviewing requests, selecting items, packing shipments, and preparing them for dispatch

• Support inventory accuracy through receiving activities, product returns, and routine stock count verification

• Handle materials carefully and maintain organized storage areas to promote efficient warehouse flow

• Follow established safety practices, quality expectations, and workplace procedures throughout daily tasks

• Work across multiple warehouse functions to help move inventory smoothly from arrival to final shipment

• Use computers or tablets to update inventory records and complete operational tasks

• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and assist with cross-training when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or order fulfillment work

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds

• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the workday

• Basic computer or tablet skills for inventory-related tasks

• Strong dependability, honesty, and ownership of assigned work

• Effective communication skills and willingness to ask questions or raise concerns
