Human Resources Credentialing Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain high volumes of credentialing and personnel data with accuracy and consistency across tracking systems.
• Review submitted documentation to confirm licenses, certifications, and other required credentials meet compliance standards.
• Coordinate pre-employment and ongoing screening activities, including background investigations, motor vehicle record reviews, drug testing, and related checks.
• Conduct reference outreach and document findings in accordance with established credentialing procedures.
• Monitor expiration timelines and manage renewal activities to help keep employee credentials active and up to date.
• Update multiple tracking tools at the same time while prioritizing deadlines and maintaining organized records.
• Respond to inbound and outbound communication regarding credentialing status, outstanding items, and next steps with a service-focused approach.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience supporting HR administration, credentialing, onboarding, or a related compliance-focused function.• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume setting with shifting priorities and tight turnaround times.
• Strong data entry skills with careful attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence handling frequent phone-based interactions.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage several tasks and follow-ups at once.
• Customer-service mindset with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
• Dependable, adaptable, and able to maintain professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Compensation
