HRIS Analyst
We are helping our client look for an HRIS Analyst to support and improve human resources systems that enable accurate data management, reliable reporting, and efficient day-to-day HR operations in Memphis, Tennessee. This role works closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to maintain system performance, resolve issues, and strengthen the overall use of workforce technology. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with enterprise HR platforms, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and support core HR technology platforms, including Oracle, Taleo, and related applications, to ensure stable and effective system performance.
• Investigate system, process, and data issues, then deliver timely resolution or coordinate with IT and external partners when escalation is needed.
• Maintain employee and organizational data by performing audits, validating transactions, and monitoring records for accuracy, security, and policy compliance.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reports that help HR leaders and business partners make informed workforce decisions.
• Assist with system configuration updates, workflow improvements, security access maintenance, and organizational structure changes within HR applications.
• Participate in testing efforts for enhancements, upgrades, and implementations, including user acceptance testing and documentation of results.
• Create and maintain process guides, user instructions, and system documentation to support consistent HR operations and knowledge sharing.
• Provide functional support and training to end users by answering questions related to HR data, reporting, and system processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, technology projects, compliance reviews, and data governance activities that strengthen HR service delivery.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• At least 3 years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, or support of enterprise human resources systems.
• Proven experience working with Oracle-based HR systems; exposure to Taleo and Oracle Cloud is highly valued.
• Strong ability to analyze HR data, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain high standards for data integrity and confidentiality.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards; knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with system testing, user acceptance testing, process documentation, and cross-functional project support.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence is required.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or a comparable credential is preferred.
Compensation
