Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Coordinator
Responsibilities:
• Support onboarding and separation processes by coordinating onboarding documentation, employment verifications, background checks, candidate screening requirements, I-9 completion, and related HR records.
• Partner with HR leadership on employee relations matters, routine HR administration, and follow-up tasks that help keep people processes running smoothly.
• Assist with multi-state bi-weekly payroll activities, including maintaining accurate payroll-related data, supporting certified payroll tracking, and updating union rate information as needed.
• Help administer employee benefit programs by answering questions, supporting enrollments and changes, and reconciling monthly vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic and shared HR files using consistent naming practices while ensuring documentation is complete and easy to retrieve.
• Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, workplace policies, and other HR topics with a service-oriented and confidential approach.
• Contribute to recruiting efforts by helping coordinate job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and other recruitment support activities.
• Assist with compliance-related tasks such as unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, state tax notices and filings, and adherence to federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Create and update spreadsheets, reports, invoice coding, and administrative materials while also providing general office, facilities, and event support when needed.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting human resources functions.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
• ADP Workforce Now experience required
• Experience with onboarding processes, employee records management, and background screening coordination.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
• Effective organizational, customer service, and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a busy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred; certified payroll experience is an advantage.
Compensation
