Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Welcome students, employees, and guests with a courteous and attentive front-desk presence.
• Respond to questions, handle incoming calls, and connect individuals with the appropriate department or team member.
• Coordinate calendars, arrange appointments, and support meeting logistics to ensure efficient scheduling.
• Enter information accurately into office systems and maintain both digital and paper files in an organized manner.
• Draft and format letters, reports, and other administrative documents as needed by the department.
• Safeguard sensitive records by exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative assistance to staff across the office.
• Contribute to a clean, welcoming, and well-organized onsite office environment.
• Assist with semester-based projects and provide additional support as priorities shift.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in administrative support, reception, office coordination, customer service, or a related setting.• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and approachable style.
• Ability to deliver attentive customer service and create a welcoming experience for a diverse population.
• Proven organizational skills with close attention to accuracy and detail.
• Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and good judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy onsite office environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment and software.
Compensation
