DSP and Office
Responsibilities:
• Deliver one-on-one support based on each client’s service objectives and evolving needs.
• Guide clients in building practical skills such as job readiness, household management, money handling, and effective communication.
• Encourage consistent routines and positive habits that strengthen independence and personal stability.
• Drive clients to appointments, community programs, and other approved destinations using a reliable personal vehicle.
• Protect and promote each client’s safety, dignity, rights, and overall well-being during daily interactions.
• Record service activities and client progress accurately, ensuring documentation is completed within required timeframes.
• Prepare and maintain required reports, case records, and other program-related paperwork in compliance with established standards.
• Work closely with families, employers, and care team members to support coordinated service delivery.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and supervisory check-ins as scheduled.
• Assist with front office and administrative duties such as answering inbound calls, data entry, and general reception support as needed.
Qualifications:
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, dependable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance are required.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a field-based environment.
• Strong written documentation, interpersonal communication, and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Comfort using mobile devices, Microsoft Office, and basic administrative systems is required.
• Clearance to work and valid CPR/First Aid certification are required.
Compensation
