Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a team in Fort Wayne, Indiana on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, enjoys helping customers, and can manage a mix of phone, mail, and general support tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position will also involve learning additional duties quickly to support coverage needs and maintain smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and provide timely assistance by phone and other service channels.
• Route incoming calls to the appropriate contacts while ensuring each caller receives accurate direction and support.
• Process and distribute daily mail, maintaining organization and timely handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Assist customers with routine questions, service needs, and issue resolution while delivering a positive experience.
• Learn additional responsibilities through cross-training to provide flexible support across the team.
• Maintain clear records of interactions, follow-up items, and completed service activities.
• Coordinate with colleagues to help manage workload priorities and ensure consistent customer coverage.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in customer service or a similar support-focused position.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence handling incoming calls.
• Ability to organize daily mail and complete administrative tasks accurately.
• Comfortable assisting customers with professionalism, patience, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new processes quickly and participate in cross-training.
• Reliable time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a structured schedule.

Compensation

$19.00-$21.00 Hourly
