ERP/CRM Consultant

We are looking for an ERP/CRM Consultant to support a contract engagement based in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will guide user acceptance testing for an Acumatica 26R1 upgrade and help business teams prepare for a successful mid-November launch. This position requires a hands-on functional expert who can coordinate testing activities, work closely with accounting and operations stakeholders, and keep progress moving in a fast-changing environment.

This is a remote opportunity, pacific time zone preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the end-to-end user acceptance testing effort for the Acumatica 26R1 upgrade, ensuring activities stay aligned with project timelines and readiness goals.

• Coordinate business participants throughout multiple testing phases, monitor completion status, and follow up to resolve blockers or outstanding tasks.

• Review core workflows, application screens, and operational processes within Acumatica to confirm they perform as expected after the upgrade.

• Collaborate with accounting and cross-functional operational teams to validate business-critical scenarios and document feedback clearly.

• Maintain visibility into defects, testing results, and overall execution progress, escalating risks when needed to support decision-making.

• Refine and organize existing test scripts and cases, and create additional coverage where gaps are identified in the current manual testing approach.

• Support go-live preparedness by helping teams address issues, confirm business readiness, and reduce implementation risk ahead of deployment.

• Work within a connected application landscape that includes Shopify, Zapier, Boomi, DataSelf, Airflow, Snowflake, and a legacy data warehouse, incorporating integration impacts into testing activitiesc

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated functional expertise with Acumatica in enterprise business environments.
• Prior experience supporting or leading testing for Acumatica version upgrades.
• Background managing user acceptance testing and/or broader business testing initiatives from planning through execution.
• Ability to partner effectively with business users, finance teams, and other non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of organization and follow-through.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and executing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced setting where priorities may change quickly.
• Familiarity with related business systems, integrations, or technical environments such as eCommerce platforms, APIs, and connected data tools is a plus.

Compensation

$60.00-$70.00 Hourly
