Accounts Payable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Review, enter, and maintain payment and revenue-related information with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle invoice processing activities, including coding, verifying details, and preparing items for payment completion.
• Investigate mismatched records or incomplete information by gathering backup documentation and resolving issues efficiently.
• Support check run activities and other accounts payable tasks to help keep vendor payments on schedule.
• Scan, file, and organize electronic records so documentation remains complete, accessible, and audit-ready.
• Coordinate with internal teams to obtain needed information, answer questions, and keep work moving toward deadlines.
• Perform routine data entry and general office support duties that assist daily accounting and operational needs.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.• At least 1 year of relevant experience, including roughly 2 years in an office, clerical, or administrative setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes such as invoice coding, invoice entry, and payment support.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with Excel proficiency required for day-to-day tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Solid organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments.
• Reliable, motivated, and open to training with a desire to grow in the role.
Compensation
