Finance Manager
We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial planning activities and provide meaningful insight that supports business decisions in Walnut Creek, California. This role focuses on building reliable forecasts, analyzing operating results, and guiding the annual planning cycle with a strong command of financial data. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex analysis into practical recommendations for stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Build financial models to analyze sales channels, promotions, margins, and growth.
- Monitor key drivers including sales performance, product launches, marketing ROI, and supply chain costs.
- Track profitability and margin performance to support operations and planning.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve spending, efficiency, and business performance.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain on forecasting, inventory, and cost planning.
- Translate financial results into actionable business recommendations for leadership.
- Improve FP& A processes, reporting tools, systems, and data accuracy.
- Promote financial accountability and cross-functional alignment across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 6+ years of FP& A or corporate finance experience, preferably in consumer products (CPG).
- Skilled in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge; ERP and BI tools experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial data to diverse audiences.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong business judgment.
Compensation
$125,000.00-$140,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
