Talent Acquistion Specialist

A growing company in Carlsbad is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide temporary recruiting support during a busy hiring period. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the fast pace of recruiting and can jump into an existing hiring process quickly.

You'll partner with hiring managers to move candidates through the recruiting funnel, from sourcing and initial outreach through interviews and offer coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, comfortable working with multiple openings, and knows how to keep candidates engaged throughout the process.

What you'll be doing

• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, and internal databases
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screens
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Communicate interview details and follow up with candidates
• Maintain accurate applicant records and recruiting activity
• Assist with job postings and position updates
• Track candidates through the hiring pipeline
• Conduct reference checks and assist with pre-employment processes
• Prepare candidate information for hiring managers
• Help coordinate offers and start dates
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the process
• Assist with recruiting reports and hiring metrics
• Support recruiting projects and special assignments

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or HR experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable conducting phone and virtual interviews
• Experience using an ATS or recruiting platform
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple open positions
• Professional and engaging communication style
• High-volume recruiting experience is a plus
