PPC Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for a PPC Specialist to plan, launch, and optimize paid search and paid social campaigns that drive qualified traffic, leads, and revenue. You'll own campaign performance end-to-end — from keyword strategy and ad copy to bid management, budget pacing, and reporting — working closely with content, design, and analytics teams to hit ROAS/CPA targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and manage PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, and paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok as applicable)
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify targeting opportunities
- Write and A/B test ad copy, headlines, and creative assets to improve CTR and conversion rate
- Manage daily/weekly bid adjustments, budget pacing, and campaign structure (account, campaign, ad group, keyword-level)
- Monitor and optimize toward KPIs: CPC, CPA, CTR, ROAS, conversion rate, Quality Score
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and platform pixels
- Build and present performance reports and dashboards (Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets) with actionable insights
- Manage negative keyword lists, audience segmentation, and remarketing/retargeting campaigns
- Conduct landing page audits and collaborate with design/dev on conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Stay current on platform updates, bid automation/Smart Bidding strategies, and industry best practices
- Manage monthly ad spend budgets and forecast/pace spend accurately
- Collaborate with SEO and content teams for a cohesive paid + organic search strategy
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns (adjust for seniority)
- Proficiency in Google Ads and Google Analytics (GA4); Google Ads certification a plus
- Experience with bid management/automation strategies (Target ROAS, Target CPA, Smart Bidding)
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking setup
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfort working with large data sets
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into optimization decisions
- Excellent written communication skills for ad copywriting
