Junior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to join our finance team at our corporate headquarters. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting within a large, fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities
• Help maintain accuracy of financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
• Prepare reports and schedules for internal management
• Support audits by gathering requested financial documentation
• Partner with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other departments to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ year of accounting experience, internship experience, or strong entry-level foundation
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a corporate or multi-entity environment
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
• Internship or prior experience supporting month-end close
