SEO Analyst
About the Role
We're looking for an SEO Analyst to help grow organic search visibility and traffic. You'll research, analyze, and optimize our website's content and technical performance to improve rankings, drive qualified traffic, and support broader marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify content and optimization opportunities
- Perform on-page SEO audits and implement improvements (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, schema markup)
- Monitor site health using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/SEMrush
- Analyze organic traffic, rankings, and conversion data to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with content, dev, and design teams to implement SEO best practices
- Track and report on KPIs (organic traffic, rankings, CTR, conversions)
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay current on search algorithm updates
- Assist with technical SEO tasks: site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, indexing issues
- Support link-building and content strategy initiatives
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing (adjust based on seniority)
- Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
- Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Google Tag Manager, or Looker Studio
- Background in content strategy or copywriting
- Experience with local SEO or e-commerce SEO
- Google Analytics/Ads certifications
Compensation
