Technical Business Analyst (HCM)
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (HCM) to support a large-scale Human Capital Management transformation initiative. This role will play a key part in gathering business requirements, documenting processes, mapping integrations, and supporting the migration from ADP to new HCM system (most likely Oracle).
This is a highly visible position working closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and application teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new HCM platform. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of business analysis expertise, HCM domain knowledge, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Create detailed user stories, process flows, requirements documentation, and functional specifications
- Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Analyze current-state and future-state HCM processes
- Support HCM migration initiatives, including data mapping and process transformation activities
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, interfaces, and system enhancements
- Assist with testing, validation, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing efforts
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that align with business objectives
- Provide regular project updates and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications
- Strong experience gathering requirements, creating user stories, process mapping, and business process documentation
- Experience supporting HCM implementations, migrations, or transformations
- Ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an ADP to Oracle HCM migration
- Oracle HCM Cloud experience
- Background working with HRIS, payroll, benefits, talent management, or workforce management systems
- Experience with integrations between HCM and other enterprise platforms
- Financial services or banking industry experience

Compensation
