Permit Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Permit Coordinator to support permit processing and project documentation for construction, property management, or development-related activities in Delray Beach, Florida. This role will be responsible for preparing, submitting, tracking, and expediting permits while coordinating with municipalities, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications and related documents
• Coordinate with local municipalities, including the City of Delray Beach and surrounding jurisdictions
• Review plans and applications for completeness and accuracy before submission
• Monitor permit status and follow up on approvals, corrections, and inspections
• Maintain accurate records of permits, licenses, and project documentation
• Communicate with project managers, contractors, architects, and inspectors regarding permit requirements and timelines
• Schedule inspections and ensure all close-out documentation is completed
• Stay current on local building codes, zoning requirements, and permitting procedures
• Assist with administrative tasks related to construction or development projects

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in permit coordination, construction administration, project coordination, or a related field
• Knowledge of local permitting processes and construction documentation
• Experience working with municipal agencies and online permitting systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or permitting software is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, real estate development, architecture, or property management
• Familiarity with South Florida permitting practices
• Bilingual skills are a plus
