Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a great attitude, strong client focus, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment to join our Irvine, California team.
- Lead Project Managers and their teams in the execution of multiple hospitality renovation projects.
- Manage team assignments, resource allocation, workloads, project schedules, and key milestones.
- Hold teams accountable for safety, quality, financial performance, documentation, and First Finish operating procedures.
- Review project plans and documentation to anticipate trade conflicts, operational challenges, and schedule risks.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, hotel management, design professionals, subcontractors, vendors, and other project partners.
- Oversee project financials, including budgets, buyout, forecasting, billing, change orders, invoicing, expenditures, and profitability.
- Lead project, client, financial, preconstruction, closeout, and lessons-learned meetings.
- Coach and develop project management staff through training, feedback, performance management, and ongoing support.
Qualifications
- 10 or more years of construction project management experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Experience leading multiple project teams in hospitality renovations, commercial interiors, occupied spaces, or similarly complex renovation work.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, scheduling, procurement, safety, quality control, project financials, and closeout.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, client billing, and overall project profitability.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and interior-design plans and specifications.
- Strong leadership, client-service, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction accounting or project-management systems, with flexibility to travel as required.
