Recruiter

We are looking for a Recruiter to join a client in Birmingham AL. This is a Contract position focused on managing end-to-end hiring activities and building strong candidate pipelines for a variety of corporate and high-volume roles. The ideal candidate brings a proactive approach to sourcing, strong communication skills, and the ability to move searches forward efficiently while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake discussions and candidate outreach through offer coordination and onboarding support.

• Develop and maintain talent pipelines using direct sourcing, networking, job boards, and other recruiting channels to attract candidates with relevant experience.

• Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing priorities, define role expectations, and align recruiting strategies with business needs.

• Screen applicants and conduct initial evaluations to identify candidates whose experience and capabilities match position requirements.

• Manage a high volume of requisitions while keeping hiring processes organized, timely, and compliant with internal standards.

• Track candidate activity and hiring progress within the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate records and reporting.

• Coordinate interviews and maintain clear communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout each stage of the hiring process.

• Support recruiting-related process updates or workflow changes, including adjustments tied to internal tools or systems, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience handling full cycle recruiting in a corporate or business environment.
• Demonstrated success sourcing candidates through multiple channels for both targeted and high-volume hiring needs.
• Background in corporate recruiting with the ability to manage several open positions at once.
• Hands-on experience working with an applicant tracking system and maintaining accurate recruiting data.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills when working with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in retail, consumer-facing, or similarly dynamic industries is preferred.

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 Hourly
