Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic planning and financial decision-making for a growing organization in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role will partner with business leaders to evaluate performance, identify trends, and deliver insights that improve profitability. The ideal candidate brings strong FP& A experience, sharp analytical skills, and a solid understanding of pricing and margin performance within a services-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
• Develop financial models and forecasting tools to support budgeting, planning, and long-range business decisions.
• Analyze operating results against forecasts and budgets, highlighting key drivers behind variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to assess pricing strategies, margin performance, and overall business profitability.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
• Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that influence revenue and expense performance.
• Support monthly and quarterly planning cycles by consolidating inputs, validating assumptions, and improving reporting accuracy.
• Evaluate business performance across service lines or functions to help leadership make informed operational and investment decisions.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to perform financial modeling, variance analysis, and detailed financial reporting.
• Experience conducting ad hoc analysis to support business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical capability, including the ability to work with large data sets and apply data mining techniques.
• Understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability analysis, preferably within a services-based business.
• Proficiency in translating financial findings into practical recommendations for business partners.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$120,000.00 Yearly
