Oracle Fusion Cloud Projects/PPM Functional Lead
Responsibilities:
• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to evaluate current Oracle Fusion Projects/PPM processes and define a scalable operating model for project-related spending.
• Configure project structures such as project types, templates, task hierarchies, expenditure classifications, transaction rules, organizations, and related attributes to support business needs.
• Build governance frameworks for project setup, approvals, access controls, ongoing maintenance, and ownership of key master data elements.
• Enable accurate project coding throughout requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, work confirmations, and invoices while accounting for dependencies tied to item type, category, destination, and line structure.
• Coordinate end-to-end project costing processes covering commitments, budgets, forecasts, actual costs, accounting flows, and period-close reconciliation across direct and inventory-supported transactions.
• Align Project Costing and AutoAccounting behavior with Procurement, Payables, Receipt Accounting, Cost Management, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets to ensure consistent financial treatment.
• Design and support capital project accounting processes, including cost accumulation, capitalization readiness, project-to-asset alignment, and asset closeout activities.
• Drive fit-gap analysis, functional design, system testing, defect resolution, user training, cutover planning, documentation, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of functional experience in Oracle Projects/PPM, including strong expertise with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.• Proven success delivering at least two full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Projects implementations, major enhancement programs, or optimization initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of Project Costing and Project Control, including templates, task structures, expenditure types, transaction controls, organizations, commitments, budgets, actuals, and accounting.
• Experience integrating Oracle Projects with Procurement, Receiving, Payables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and related costing or receipt accounting processes.
• Practical understanding of capital project accounting, capitalization workflows, asset creation or transfer, and project closeout activities.
• Ability to design both purchase order-backed and non-purchase order project expenditure processes, including services, receipts, work confirmations, accruals, and invoice matching.
• Strong capability in requirements gathering, business process analysis, configuration management, testing coordination, and stakeholder collaboration across finance, operations, and IT teams.
