Compensation: $65 to $85 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a plaintiff-focused litigation practice in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout the life cycle of civil matters, helping keep cases organized, deadlines on track, and clients informed. This opportunity is well suited to someone who thrives in a busy legal setting, brings strong judgment and attention to detail, and can confidently balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day case activity from intake through trial preparation, maintaining organized files, calendars, and litigation deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, courts, medical providers, and outside parties to gather information, provide updates, and support timely case progress.
• Review, summarize, and manage medical records and other case documents to assist attorneys in evaluating claims and preparing strategy.
• Draft, organize, and file litigation materials such as discovery responses, pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Assist with discovery by collecting records, preparing document productions, tracking responses, and following up on outstanding items.
• Support motion practice and hearing preparation by assembling exhibits, legal documents, and other materials required by attorneys.
• Prepare trial binders, witness materials, exhibit lists, and other pre-trial documents to help ensure readiness for court proceedings.
• Use case management software and related systems to maintain accurate matter information, document activity, and monitor key milestones.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role within a civil litigation environment.
• Practical knowledge of discovery processes, litigation procedures, and trial preparation activities.
• Experience reviewing and organizing case records, including medical documentation and other evidentiary materials.
• Proficiency with case management software and standard legal office technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active matters with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines and supporting attorney workflow.

Compensation

$65,000.00-$85,000.00 Yearly
