Quality Support LL.US
Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections on incoming materials, work-in-progress items, and completed products using appropriate measuring and testing equipment.
• Perform part set-ups and use advanced inspection techniques to confirm components meet required specifications.
• Review available system data to support final product acceptance and ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Partner with production and other internal teams to address quality concerns and communicate inspection findings clearly.
• Maintain inspection documentation within the designated quality system and prepare required reports for nonconforming material.
• Evaluate returned customer product, identify the nature of the issue, and document findings in accordance with reporting procedures.
• Prepare certificates of conformance when customer or job requirements call for formal quality documentation.
• Support the creation and rollout of inspection instructions and assist with improvements to quality control processes.
• Make sure nonconforming material is properly identified, separated, and controlled according to established procedures.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, regulatory requirements, and operating procedures while maintaining attention to quality and productivity.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical training in a related field.• At least 2 years of relevant quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience using general measurement tools to verify parts against inspection requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Basic to intermediate math skills, including geometry and fundamental trigonometry.
• Familiarity with GD& T and calibration practices for precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and depth indicators.
• Proficiency with computers and common business software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
