Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

Compensation: $55.10 to $63.80 Hourly

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead Salesforce-focused initiatives for clients in Glendale, California. This Long-term Contract position will guide projects from discovery through deployment and post-launch support, ensuring delivery stays aligned with business goals, timelines, and quality expectations. The role partners closely with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to keep work organized, transparent, and moving forward across complex implementation and enhancement efforts.

Responsibilities:
• Direct Salesforce engagements from initial planning through launch and ongoing support, covering new implementations, system enhancements, integrations, and data-related initiatives.
• Build and maintain delivery plans by defining scope, setting milestones, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress against agreed timelines and commitments.
• Work closely with architects, developers, analysts, quality teams, DevOps professionals, and business stakeholders to keep execution aligned across all workstreams.
• Lead discovery meetings, process reviews, and working sessions to clarify needs, identify gaps, and convert business priorities into actionable delivery roadmaps.
• Select and manage the appropriate delivery approach, whether Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or a blended model, based on project demands and stakeholder expectations.
• Run key project ceremonies and governance activities, including sprint planning, daily check-ins, backlog reviews, status updates, retrospectives, and release preparation meetings.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, budget considerations, and escalations, and take timely action to protect scope, schedule, and overall project health.
• Oversee testing, defect follow-up, release readiness, deployment coordination, data migration validation, and post-go-live support planning to enable successful production outcomes.
• Maintain clear project documentation such as plans, logs, meeting summaries, status reports, release notes, and closure materials while driving continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing Salesforce projects involving implementation, enhancement, integration, support, or migration activities.
• Strong background in IT project management with the ability to lead multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile Scrum practices and experience facilitating structured project ceremonies and team collaboration.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Jira for planning, tracking progress, managing backlogs, and reporting project status.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, executive stakeholders, technical teams, and business partners in fast-moving environments.
• Skill in handling project risks, issue resolution, dependency management, and stakeholder escalation processes.
• PMP Certification is preferred or strongly valued for this role.

Compensation

$55.10-$63.80 Hourly
