Legal Assistant
Our client, a well-established St. Louis-based personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm, is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Legal Assistant to support its growing team. This position plays a key role in communicating with clients, coordinating medical records and treatment-related information, and helping cases progress smoothly from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and committed to providing excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients, providing updates on case status and next steps.
• Communicate with clients regarding medical treatment, appointments, and claim-related questions.
• Request, collect, and organize medical records, billing statements, and other supporting documentation.
• Track deadlines, appointments, and follow-up activities to help ensure cases remain on schedule.
• Prepare and electronically file legal documents and assist with court-related filings as needed.
• Maintain accurate case files and document all client communications and case developments.
• Provide compassionate, client-focused support throughout the legal process.
