Assistant General Counsel
A leading technology company is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its growing legal team. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, this attorney will provide practical legal guidance to the business across corporate, commercial, compliance, privacy, and risk matters.
This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to the business. The ideal candidate is a strong corporate attorney who can manage multiple priorities, work independently, and provide clear, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Advise the business on corporate, commercial, compliance, and general legal matters
- Support corporate governance, public company reporting, strategic investments, and transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Assist with corporate policies, compliance programs, and training
- Advise on data privacy and enterprise risk management
- Partner with U.S. and international business teams
- Help identify and manage legal and business risks
- Support special projects and other legal initiatives
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of corporate legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent judgment, communication skills, and business acumen
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a complex or regulated environment preferred
- New Jersey Bar admission in good standing, or admission in another U.S. jurisdiction with willingness to obtain NJ admission
- Strong technology skills and interest in using technology to improve legal processes
- International experience is a plus
- Limited travel may be required
