Controller

We are looking for a detail-oriented Controller to support document management operations for a Contract position in Rockaway, New Jersey. This opportunity is ideal for someone who excels at maintaining organized records, handling high-volume scanning tasks, and ensuring documentation is complete and accessible. The role plays an important part in keeping information accurate, well-compiled, and properly controlled within a transport-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee document control activities to ensure records are organized, accurate, and easy to retrieve.
• Scan paper and digital materials efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency across files.
• Review incoming documentation for completeness before organizing and filing materials appropriately.
• Compile records from multiple sources into structured files for operational and compliance use.
• Maintain orderly document storage systems and update records as new information is received.
• Support the preparation, tracking, and archiving of documentation in line with internal standards.
• Identify missing, unclear, or duplicate records and follow up to resolve discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

• Experience handling document control responsibilities in a detail-focused setting.
• Proficiency in scanning documents with strong attention to detail and file accuracy.
• Ability to compile and organize large volumes of paperwork in a structured manner.
• Strong administrative skills with a focus on recordkeeping and document management.
• Comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate with team members as needed.

Compensation

$95.00-$110.00 Hourly
