Litigation Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the managing partner’s schedule by arranging meetings, court dates, and key appointments while ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
• Oversee daily communications by sorting, prioritizing, and responding to emails, letters, invoices, and legal filings in a timely and organized manner.
• Support team operations by planning meetings, developing agendas, documenting discussion points, and monitoring follow-up items to keep work moving forward.
• Manage travel logistics, including transportation and lodging arrangements, to ensure smooth and efficient business trips.
• Provide administrative and research support, including budget-related assistance and information gathering to aid leadership decisions.
• Draft, edit, and proofread pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other legal correspondence with a strong focus on accuracy and formatting.
• Maintain organized case files within document management and case management systems, ensuring records remain current and easy to retrieve.
• Review documents and enter case-related information accurately to support reporting, compliance, and matter tracking.
• Assist with client communications and interviews while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a paralegal role, with a strong background in litigation support.
• Practical knowledge of civil litigation procedures, including discovery and trial preparation activities.
• Experience using case management or document management software to maintain legal files and deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare and refine legal documents with precision.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate schedules, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with billing-related tasks and administrative support within a legal setting.
• Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and professionalism.
Compensation
