12-Week Contract
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 12-week contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: Work from home
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with check runs and electronic payments
- Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate records and accounts payable files
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Enter financial data into the accounting system with a high degree of accuracy
Qualifications:
- Previous accounts payable, accounting support, or bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
