Front Desk
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and customers in a courteous manner while maintaining a welcoming front office presence.
• Route incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and ensure messages or inquiries reach the appropriate team members.
• Provide administrative support to customer-facing staff by reviewing acknowledgements, updating order details, and entering information accurately.
• Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail, including internal deliveries and weekly shipment of sales materials.
• Replenish paper in shared office printers and help keep common equipment areas organized and ready for use.
• Receive office and supply deliveries, confirm order accuracy, and place materials in designated storage areas, including moving heavier paper boxes when needed.
• Step in to cover reception responsibilities for other office locations or team members when coverage is required.
• Monitor inventory for office, lunchroom, mailroom, and shipping supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Assist with additional support tasks for internal departments as requested, including toner recycling and seasonal care of outdoor plants.
• Participate in scheduled training during the first week and follow established procedures to ensure smooth front desk operations.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support position.• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and handle inbound calls professionally.
• Strong customer service skills with a welcoming and organized approach to office support.
• Comfortable performing clerical tasks such as mail distribution, data entry, and document handling.
• Ability to lift and move office supply items, including boxes of paper, as part of daily responsibilities.
• Solid attention to detail when verifying orders, processing acknowledgements, and tracking supply needs.
• Dependable time management skills and the ability to support several tasks at once in a busy office environment.
• Availability to work the assigned contract schedule and complete the initial part-time training period.
Compensation
