M365 Engineer

We are looking for an experienced M365 Engineer to lead and optimize a cloud-first Microsoft 365 ecosystem for a large, distributed user base in Lake Mary, Florida. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can strengthen security, improve endpoint management, and streamline administration through automation. The role will play a key part in maintaining a modern workplace environment that supports both internal employees and global contractors while advancing identity, compliance, and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day administration, performance, and ongoing enhancement of the Microsoft 365 environment across the organization.

• Manage Intune and endpoint management capabilities to secure, configure, and support devices.

• Design and implement automation solutions that minimize repetitive manual tasks and improve operational efficiency within the M365 platform.

• Develop and maintain access controls using Conditional Access, multi-factor authentication, and Zero Trust security principles.

• Administer identity services within Microsoft Entra ID, including user lifecycle support and access governance processes.

• Support information protection and compliance initiatives through Microsoft Purview and related data governance capabilities.

• Maintain and improve collaboration services such as SharePoint and OneDrive to ensure reliable and secure document access.

• Provide technical ownership of a fully cloud-based Microsoft 365 environment.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune and endpoint administration.

• Solid background in Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, and provisioning practices.

• Proven knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, Conditional Access, and multi-factor authentication.

• Experience with Microsoft Purview and data protection or compliance-related controls.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and OneDrive.

• Ability to build or enhance automation that reduces manual administrative effort within cloud platforms.
