Help Desk Analyst I (Contract)

Location: Groton, CT

Hire Type: Interim Contract

Robert Half is currently seeking a Help Desk Analyst I for an ongoing contract opportunity with one of our clients in the Groton, CT area.

We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience who enjoy troubleshooting technical issues and providing outstanding customer service to end users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and basic network connectivity issues
• Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment
• Document support requests, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps within the ticketing system
• Escalate more complex technical issues to senior team members when necessary
• Perform user account administration, password resets, and access requests
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service to employees across the organization

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or related IT experience
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and basic networking concepts
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is a plus
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are preferred
