Front Desk Reception

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join a hotel team in Commerce, CA. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent guest service, is comfortable working independently, and can maintain a welcoming and professional front desk environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome hotel guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phones, respond to guest questions, and provide information about hotel services and local areas.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Communicate with housekeeping and other hotel departments regarding room status and guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures, including overnight security and front desk protocols.

Qualifications:

Previous hotel, hospitality, front desk, or customer service experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented personality.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Comfortable using computers and learning hotel reservation systems.

Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns.

Must be flexible to work afternoon and/or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
