Health Insurance Sales Representative

We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Health Insurance Enrollment Specialist to support open enrollment initiatives for our client. This remote Contract position focuses on educating individuals, families, employers, and Medicare-eligible adults on available health insurance options and assisting them through the enrollment process. The ideal candidate is licensed to sell health insurance, AHIP certified, and experienced in discussing medical insurance and Medicare plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals, families, employers, and Medicare-eligible adults with health insurance plan selection and enrollment.

• Explain health insurance and Medicare coverage options, benefits, costs, and eligibility requirements.

• Support open enrollment activities and guide customers through the enrollment process.

• Recommend plan options based on customer needs and coverage goals.

• Maintain compliance with insurance and Medicare regulations.

• Complete enrollment applications and related documentation accurately.

• Respond to customer questions regarding coverage, benefits, and plan options.

Qualifications:

• Active Health Insurance License required.

• Current AHIP Certification required.

• Previous experience selling health insurance and Medicare plans.

• Strong knowledge of medical insurance products, Medicare, and enrollment procedures.

• Ability to discuss plan options and explain complex coverage information clearly.

• Excellent communication, consultative sales, and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage enrollment documentation accurately.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or enrollment management systems.
