Position Summary:
The Director of Local Education & Practice Growth is responsible for leading the strategy, development, commercialization, and operational execution of North America’s local education and practice growth initiatives to drive customer engagement, practice success, and sales growth. This role leads cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Internal Training, Finance, and Global teams to develop innovative education pathways, value-added services, and customer solutions that differentiate the organization in the marketplace. The position oversees the evolution of education content, learning platforms, practice growth programs, and commercialization strategies while ensuring compliance with continuing education accreditation standards and delivering an exceptional customer experience. In addition, the role develops services and tools that help dental practices attract new patients, improve case acceptance, expand treatment offerings, and strengthen long-term business performance. Through data-driven insights, financial stewardship, and continuous improvement, this leader measures program effectiveness, optimizes return on investment, and equips the field organization with solutions that enhance customer value and business growth. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in positioning the organization as a trusted partner by delivering an integrated ecosystem of education, practice growth, and value-added services that support sustainable growth for both customers and business.


Location: Hybrid / Andover Based role


Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


Local Education Strategy and Leadership

• Leadership of team members responsible for NAM Local Education & Practice Growth event planning, course material coordination, operations & commercialization
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership; including DSO & Digital - to better understand customer needs and gather ideas for future educational offerings.
• Assess continuing education needs, and collaborate with local & global content development teams - to identify gaps and opportunities and build content
• Propose & align education pathways and strategies that align with NAM strategies and enable sales growth
• Define objectives, content, and deliverables for virtual and in person learning within the US/Canada markets
• Collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, Marketing, Internal Training and Finance to develop, execute and review all local education courses, sponsorship opportunities to support strategic goals, and gain national exposure for the organization.
• Support timely renewals and maintenance of compliance with Continuing Education Dental Accrediting Bodies including AGD and others as applicable and leverages NAM KOL consultants for new educational content offering review
• Responsible for Local Education & Practice Growth menu evolution and content pathways as it pertains to the NAM strategy and supports commercialization of pathways through to field sales in collaboration with internal sales training team
• Ensure proper setup and maintenance of SKILL platform- including Menu, content and speakers for customers and field sales and constant improvement of system to ensure highest deliverable experience quality to customers and key stakeholders
• Responsible for proactive collaboration with MARCOM to develop Local Education Menu marketing content and sales enablement tools as well as collaboration with Internal Training Team for field sales roll outs
• Lead post event analysis learnings, recommendations and processes for continuous improvement, and present insights to Education and Marketing leadership
• Development and execution dashboards, ROI & Field usage reporting for all programing
• Development, management, and reconciliation of annual budgets for all local education & practice growth programming, sponsorships and local education demo materials.

Practice Growth (Services to Drive Practice Growth, Patient Acquisition & Acceptance)
• Develop and execute programs and services that help dental practices attract new patients, increase case acceptance, and sustainably grow their businesses.
• Design educational resources, training, and growth toolkits to enhance practice capabilities in patient communication, treatment planning, and case conversion.
• Lead patient acquisition initiatives, including consumer awareness campaigns and referral activation strategies, to increase patient flow to practices.
• Equip sales teams and practice partners with actionable insights and tools to support growth conversations with dental practices.
• Continuously monitor market trends, patient behaviors, and practice performance to optimize growth programs and maximize their impact.
• Identify and activate new opportunities to help practices expand their service offerings, increase revenue, and improve patient engagement.

Practice Services (Value-Added Services & Brand Differentiation)
• Design and deliver a portfolio of value-added services that differentiate our brand and create measurable value for dental practices, including loyalty programs, marketing support packages, patient conversion tools, and consumer-facing campaigns.
• Build services that go beyond products to strengthen customer engagement, retention, and practice loyalty, positioning us as the partner of choice.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Digital) to ensure high-impact delivery and seamless customer experience of all service offerings.
• Champion the development and integration of digital tools and innovative service enhancements that elevate practice performance and reinforce brand differentiation.
• Monitor the adoption and effectiveness of services, continuously optimizing offerings based on customer feedback, market dynamics, and performance insights.
• Establish our services as a strategic lever to deepen customer relationships, enhance brand perception, and support the long-term success of our clients.

Management Responsibilities:
• Responsible for L1 Direct Reports that also includes L2 Employees – reporting into L1 Direct Report


Physical Attributes:
• General office environment and constant physical activity.
• Moderate amount of lifting (up to 10 pounds), standing and walking involved as essential part of job.
• Travel up to 30% in support of the above activities, can include weekends.


Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5–10 years of leadership experience within the dental, healthcare, or related industries.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within field activities in the dental space
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies.
• Proven experience in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in managing complex projects and driving initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of the dental industry, including clinical and practice management.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with or for a dental practice, understanding the operational and clinical aspects of running a practice and supporting a referral network.
• Superior organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Ability to work cross functional across departments
• Experience in creation and reconciliation of a budget
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the dental or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with market research and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with B2C strategies and consumer engagement.
• Experience in developing and executing direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing campaigns.
• Proven project management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Able to handle a changing and hectic workload
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Capable of creative thinking and problem solving


Salary: $160,000 - $175,000/Annually + variable 25% bonus. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
