Summary
Tribal Health is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity in North Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys the variety and autonomy of rural hospital nursing and will work across Acute Care, Swing Bed, Observation, and outpatient services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients
- Care for patients in Acute Care, Swing Bed, and Observation settings as assigned
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient condition and recognize changes requiring intervention or escalation
- Provide telemetry monitoring as appropriate
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a rural hospital environment
Qualifications
- North Dakota RN license or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable caring for a diverse patient population in a Critical Access Hospital environment
