Emergency Department RN | Flexible 3×12 Schedule | Minnesota

Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy a broad scope of emergency nursing while maintaining a predictable 312 weekly schedule.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed each week)
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Candidates will rotate between day and night schedules based on department needs
• The same shift (days or nights) will be worked throughout each scheduled workweek

What You Will Do

• Assess, prioritize, and care for patients presenting with a wide variety of emergency conditions
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate emergency interventions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with trauma, medical emergencies, and stabilization of critically ill patients
• Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, laboratory, radiology, and ancillary departments to ensure outstanding patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certification
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment
