About the Role
As an Operator Maintainer, you'll support the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure and facilities, performing preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance across mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.
Working within a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- HVAC and refrigeration system maintenance
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Supporting operational readiness and facility performance
- Coordinating with contractors and suppliers
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
The role requires someone who can work autonomously, solve problems independently and thrive in a remote operational environment.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from professionals with backgrounds such as:
- Electricians
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians
- HVAC Technicians
- Industrial Maintenance Technicians
- Defence Maintainers
- Facilities Maintenance Professionals
- Mechanical Tradespeople
You'll ideally bring:
- A recognised electrical, mechanical or refrigeration trade qualification
- Experience working independently in technical maintenance environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- A safety-first mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience supporting communications infrastructure, defence systems, radar, control systems or remote operations environments will be highly regarded.
