Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead infrastructure-focused initiatives in New York, New York. This Long-term Contract position will guide planning, coordination, and delivery efforts tied to compute capacity growth and technology project execution. The ideal candidate brings strong Agile leadership, a solid understanding of software development practices, and the ability to keep cross-functional teams aligned on priorities, progress, and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Lead project activities related to infrastructure rollout efforts and expansion of compute environments.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and apply Scrum practices to keep teams organized, focused, and moving toward delivery goals.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership to align project objectives and resolve issues quickly.
• Administer Jira workflows by monitoring intake, refining backlogs, and helping teams prioritize incoming work.
• Build and maintain project plans that track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and target completion dates.
• Produce regular status updates, performance dashboards, and KPI reporting to support visibility and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline request handling and improve queue management for infrastructure-related work.
• Encourage effective coordination among teams responsible for data center, server, and compute resource deployments.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing IT projects with a focus on infrastructure or technical delivery environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology, including experience supporting or serving in a Scrum leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of software development concepts and how they relate to project planning and execution.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Jira for backlog oversight, workflow management, and reporting.
• PMP certification or comparable project management credential is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, internal partners, and senior-level stakeholders.
• Proven skill in tracking timelines, deliverables, metrics, and project performance across multiple workstreams.

Compensation

$63.34-$73.34 Hourly
