Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and enhance scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on custom development, secure integrations, IT Service Management (ITSM), and user experience optimization.

The ideal candidate will have strong ServiceNow development experience, expertise in integrations and scripting, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions. Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities is highly preferred.

Top Requirements

  • 4+ years of ServiceNow development and configuration experience
  • Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience (client-side and server-side)
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules, REST/SOAP integrations, APIs, and Flow Designer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
  • Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
  • Build scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer workflows.
  • Configure and support ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and CMDB.
  • Create user-friendly solutions utilizing Employee Center, Service Portal, UI Builder, and Workspaces.
  • Troubleshoot platform, integration, data, and performance issues.
  • Follow development best practices including automated testing, code reviews, source control, and release management.
  • Support platform upgrades, documentation, and AI-driven automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of ServiceNow development and configuration.
  • 3+ years of JavaScript development within the ServiceNow platform.
  • 2+ years of API integration design, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, logging, and monitoring.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, ACLs, CMDB, and Automated Testing Framework (ATF).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Employee Center, Service Portal, UI Builder, and Configurable Workspaces.
  • Experience with ServiceNow AI tools such as Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, Generative AI, or AI Search.



Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, and/or ITIL.
  • Experience with ITOM, CSM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, or App Engine.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, automated deployment pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.

Please note that this is a contract position. There is no guarantee that the assignment will be extended beyond the stated contract period or converted to permanent status.


Compensation

$70.00-$70.00 Hourly
