SEO Specialist

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to support digital content performance and strengthen search visibility for a leading Telecom Services organization in New York, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage web content effectively, maintain CMS-driven pages, and help ensure online experiences are optimized for discoverability and consistency. The role combines hands-on content updates with SEO best practices, making it well suited to someone who is comfortable working across web platforms such as WordPress.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and update website content across CMS platforms to keep pages accurate, current, and aligned with SEO objectives.
• Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headings, internal links, and page structure to improve organic search performance.
• Maintain and publish digital content in WordPress and related content management environments while following brand and editorial standards.
• Review web pages for content quality, usability, and search effectiveness, recommending adjustments that enhance visibility and engagement.
• Coordinate with marketing, content, and digital teams to implement SEO-friendly updates across site sections and landing pages.
• Monitor site content for inconsistencies, outdated information, or formatting issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Support content organization and page maintenance efforts to improve navigation, search relevance, and user experience.
• Contribute to web content initiatives that involve CMS enhancements or platform-related updates when needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing website content within a content management system with strong attention to detail.
• Practical knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to page structure, content presentation, and search visibility.
• Hands-on experience working with WordPress CMS for content publishing, editing, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of web content standards, formatting, and digital publishing best practices.
• Ability to handle multiple content updates simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to support website improvements and content initiatives.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to review content for clarity, consistency, and effectiveness.

Compensation

$39.59-$45.84 Hourly
