Project Management Specialists LL.US.13-1082

We are looking for an experienced sourcing and commodity management specialist to support procurement strategy and supplier performance for a long-term contract position based in Cleveland, Ohio. This role focuses on guiding competitive sourcing activity, strengthening supplier partnerships, and helping the business achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, analytical capability, and the ability to manage contracts and sourcing initiatives from planning through execution.

Responsibilities:
• Shape sourcing and negotiation approaches for goods, services, and materials to support business priorities and secure favorable commercial outcomes.
• Lead competitive bid activities, including quote and proposal processes, and drive supplier selection through contract award.
• Review pricing submissions, financial information, and market data to identify value opportunities and support informed purchasing decisions.
• Manage supplier and vendor agreements, including contract administration, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
• Assess supplier capabilities across quality, delivery, service, and cost metrics to strengthen supply continuity and reliability.
• Support commodity and account strategies by contributing to planning efforts for key categories and strategic supplier relationships.
• Establish and monitor sourcing targets and service expectations to ensure procurement activities meet operational needs.
• Conduct supplier and market research to compare options and maintain alignment with organizational standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional sourcing efforts and provide project support for procurement-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, contracts, procurement, or a closely related business discipline.
• Hands-on experience managing sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
• Ability to analyze price proposals, financial data, and supplier information to support cost-effective decisions.
• Working knowledge of supplier relationship management, service level expectations, and contract administration practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools used for reporting and analysis.
• Strong negotiation, research, and analytical skills with attention to quality and timing considerations.
• Project coordination experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in government, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.

Compensation

$34.00-$35.50 Hourly
