Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a highly successful and rapidly growing event planning and experiential marketing company based in Mahwah, NJ, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative finance team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial results
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Support audit and tax preparation activities
- Monitor revenue recognition and project profitability for events
- Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to management
- Assist with process improvements and strengthening internal controls
- Partner with operations and project teams on financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
