Our client, a prestigious luxury goods company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Analyze expenses and variances against budget and prior periods.
• Support inventory accounting and fixed asset accounting activities.
• Assist with external audits and year-end reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Collaborate with departments throughout the organization to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting internship or corporate accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
